The Seasons of Toil
Haaras Shrawanas yus wuchi booro
Haaras Shrawanas yus wuchi booro
He who bears the heavy burden of toil through summer and the monsoons
Tas Pohas te Maagas wushun waaw
Shall be graced by warm winds through the bitter winter months
Sheenas te waawas yus nane wooro
But he who wanders bare and unprepared through the snow and storms
Tas wadnas te riwanas dohay kraaw
Shall reap a daily harvest of weeping and wails
Hardini reati yas wopasi wooro
For he who remains famished even in the abundant month of autumn
Tas kus heyi manz mardan naaw
Who shall ever count his name among worthy men?
