Na rozi wande te na reati kolay

Neither the winter shall stay, nor the summer days

نہٕ بولہِ شرٛاونہٕ پتہٕ کوٚستوٗر

Na boli Shrawane pate kostoor

Nor shall the songbird sing once the monsoons pass

نہ روزِ سۄکھٕ ساویٚنہِ ہِیہِ ہولےٕ

Na rozi sokh saawini hiye holay

The affluent woman's festival of jasmines shall fade

نہ روزِ دۄہَے سازٕ سنطوٗر

Na rozi dohay saaze santoor

And the daily melodies of the Santoor will cease to play
