The Water of Remembrance

دِل چُھی گاڈ تہ ہوکھِ مو تھاوُن

Dil chhuy gaad, ti hokhi mo thaawun

The heart is a fish, do not keep it dry

ذکرِ ہُنٛد پونؠ دِس لسہِ یو تَوَے

Zikri hund poun dis, lasi yo taway

Give it the water of Zikr, only then will it survive.

نؠماز چَھے زمیٖنس پھَل زَن وَوُن

Nimaaz chay zameenas phal zan wawun

Namaz is like sowing seeds into the earth

اَد بچہ نؠند کَرُس کھَسہ یو تَوے

Adh bachi nyend karus, khasi yo taway

Then weed it carefully so it is saved, only then will it grow
