مینٛدِس دارو، دٲدِس سٔکرے

Myendis daaru, daadis sakray

Medicine may treat the leper, but true restraint cures the disease

سٔکر ہَے کرکھ تہٕ مرکھ نہٕ زانٛہہ

Sakar hay karakh te marakh na zanh

If you practice such strict spiritual abstinence, you shall never truly die

شوٗبٕلؠ بالہٕ پان رَسہٕ رَسہٕ تھکرے

Shoobil baali paan rasi rasi thakray

Bit by bit, your alluring, youthful body will wither away

فکر کرکھ نہٕ تہٕ وۄبرکھ نہٕ زانٛہہ

Fikar karakh na te wobrakh na zanh

If you do not reflect deeply now, your soul shall never rise above
