Paraan paraan paalun moth mo

Reading endlessly, I entirely forgot the essence of practice

لٮؠکھان لٮؠکھان بیوٗٹھُم دِل

Lekhaan lekhaan byoothum dil

Writing relentlessly, my heart grew utterly weary and numb

ذِکرے سٟتٮؠن مولیٰ ٹوٗٹھمو

Zikrey sityen Maula toothmo

Yet, through ceaseless remembrance (Zikr), the Lord became my Beloved

فکرے سٟتٮؠن روٚچھمو دِل

Fikrey sityen rochhmo dil

And through profound contemplation (Fikr), I beautifully nurtured my heart
