Gyaane maarg chhe haake vaar

The path of wisdom is a garden

دی زیس شمہٕ دمہٕ کرٛیٚیہِ پونؠ

Di zis shami dami kriye panyi

Fence it with calm, restraint, and worthy deeds

لما ژٔکرس پۆشا پرٛانہٕ کرٛیٚیہِ دٲر

Lama tsakras poshaa praane kriye daer

Offer your past deeds like beasts at the altar

کھؠنہ کھؠنہ موژِ وٲری چھیٚنیؠ

Khyene khyene motsi vaari chheeniye

Till the harvest is spent and the garden lies bare
